Branded merchandise can make organizations stand out, help teams look their best, and unify communities of people for a great cause, but sometimes it can mean a little more than that.
In November of 2018, the Camp Fire in Butte County claimed thousands of acres of land, homes, businesses, and more. The citizens of Paradise were hit especially hard, with the fire devastating almost the entire town.
When Amy Husted reached out to us about creating a shirt to help bring the community together, our Branded Merchandise Director, Cameron Little, and graphic designer, Alex Jimenez, sprung into action.
With Amy’s help, we came up with the beautiful concept of the state of California with a missing piece where Paradise is located in the shape of the town’s most iconic sign. “Paradise will rise from the ashes #ParadiseStrong,” emblazoned the back of the shirt. The order was rushed and Amy was able to give the shirts away, bringing hope to a devastated community.
Making these shirts for the Paradise community was an amazing and truly touching creative opportunity for everyone at Archer & Hound. Seeing the shirts featured on the San Francisco 49ers pregame show at Pleasant Valley High School was even more incredible.
Creating branded merchandise for our clients brings us joy, but creating a piece that helps bring a community together, gives them hope, and lets the nation know they will rise again makes our hearts soar.
