The 1940s was an era full of hope, courage, and heroes. Americans overcame the Great Depression, defended our country during a time of war and fought for peace and justice around the world. This prosperity, valor, and strength defined families, our homeland and ultimately the era—which is why we chose it as our theme and setting for the annual Real Heroes fundraising event.
Fundraising is essential in the non-profit world, and efficiency in fundraising is always the ultimate goal. This was our top priority when tasked with creating a signature event for the Central California chapter of the American Red Cross—and after the revamped Real Heroes event wrapped up, it was easy to see that our mission was complete.
We selected our venue (an old airport hangar at Chandler Airport), set the stage, and transported guests back in time, all while seamlessly showcasing the amazing effort and support the American Red Cross has given our nation and community for decades.
The evening was meticulously orchestrated, and the smallest details were big—but what’s most important was the success the event brought to this treasured organization.
