Void of an “off button” or a “dimmer switch,” Jess gives her all—all of the time. It is this internal drive and passion that has wowed clients and colleagues for over 20 years. With experience in media buying, market planning, and creative production for local, regional, and national accounts, Jess leads by example. What’s most fulfilling for this go-getter? Working alongside a talented team and building a creative culture that multiplies the awesomeness. It’s a tall order, but Jess has never backed away from a challenge.

Over nearly two decades of building Archer & Hound Advertising, Jess has served as the lead strategist and account executive to all of our agency clients. Her hands-on approach, experience, and ability to cultivate the best assets of the team allow each of our clients to get the full “A-Team” experience. Many of Jess’s lightbulb moments have come to her with a hairdryer in hand (something about the white noise gets her gears turning). It works, though—her practical tactics and drive to produce results for clients have brought to life many successful campaigns, one-of-a-kind concepts, and profit-earning sub-brands. When it comes to creating a strategy, Jess doesn’t fit into a box—and neither do her ideas.

Certifications & Awards

In 2021, Jess earned a Healthcare Marketing Certification from Pepperdine Graziadio Business School, as well as a DISC & Motives Certification from the Abelson Group, allowing her to lead our company insight into the DISC evaluation process. Jess’s work and leadership continue to be recognized by the advertising industry, including more than 40 regional ADDY awards, the 2011 Fresno Leading Young Professional of the Year award, a 40 Under 40 of Central California award, the 2014 Agency of the Year award, and the 2016 Fresno Advertising Federation Nancy Thielen Award, one of the most aspiring and respected awards of the Central California chapter.

Community Involvement

Jess has an incredible passion for giving back to her local community and feels an unrelenting responsibility to contribute her time and talent in an effort to help others. Over the past 20 years, she has sat on many regional and state-wide boards, serving organizations such as the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, the American Red Cross of Central California, and the Alisa Ann Ruch Burn Foundation. Beyond her service to organizations, her passion for helping others is personal. In 2016, Jess and her husband, Dave, became certified Fresno County Foster Parents, and in August 2018, adopted their then five-year-old son! And yes—the entire Archer & Hound team was in the courtroom to celebrate the amazing day, wearing custom-designed shirts that touted “Love Makes a Family.”

Dog Breed

A MOTIVATED
MUTT

You may not think much of the mixed-breed mutt, but you would be wrong. Those unassuming pups end up being the most loyal, loving dogs, standing by you through it all. Just like the mutt, Jess’s mix of experiences have made her as driven and adaptable as she is dependable.

DISC Personality

ANALYZING
IMPLEMENTOR

Jess knows how to take charge and lead others to the light, driven by her creative mind and desire for constant accuracy. With naturally high C and D, she is always looking for logical solutions while challenging the status quo. She is objective, competitive, realistic, and innovative, and her attention to detail allows her to manage many projects at once.
