As the Creative Director at Archer & Hound Advertising, Sean Tambagahan brings a unique blend of entrepreneurial spirit and creative expertise to the team. Sean’s journey began with a laptop in the corner of his mom’s office, where he founded and grew his passion for design into a full-service creative and branding agency. This venture caught the attention of Archer & Hound, leading to the acquisition of Butler Branding and Sean’s current role.

Sean excels in leading teams of creatives—he’s worked with and developed hundreds of brands over the years, guiding designers and copywriters toward greatness every step of the way. His experience in brand strategy and brand identity, coupled with his entrepreneurial background, enables him to think strategically while focusing on achieving client objectives. At the end of the day, Sean won’t be satisfied unless he is part of an effort that grows brands, grows businesses, and grows our team.

Like an American Pit Bull Terrier, Sean is strong, loyal, and full of heart. While he may seem tough on the outside, those who know him best understand his true nature—dedicated, warm, and always ready to support his team. Just like a Pit Bull, Sean’s unwavering loyalty and commitment make him an invaluable and trusted member of the Archer & Hound family.

Certifications & Awards

Sean earned his creative stripes from the school of hard knocks, YouTube University, books, the internet, and a whole lot of mistakes. His previous company, Butler Branding, won several ADDY awards, including AAF Agency of the Year 2023. Sean is the creator of the Butler Branding YouTube channel, which boasts over 25,000 followers and more than 1,000,000 views. This platform has established him as a subject-matter expert and thought leader in branding, strategy, creativity, and entrepreneurship. Additionally, he developed the Butler Box, a comprehensive teaching curriculum for agencies covering topics like brand strategy, marketing, and creative project management.

Community Involvement

Sean has a personal passion for collaborating with mission-driven organizations, aiming to amplify the voice and impact of brands doing good in the world. He regularly conducts trainings, workshops, seminars, and keynotes on design, branding, marketing, brand strategy, and creative entrepreneurship, sharing his knowledge and experience with others in the industry. Along with founding and leading a community-based church as senior pastor, Sean also sits on the board of the Fresno Mission and volunteers with his family at Rescue the Children.
