Tourism Social Media Marketing

Social Media, Video

Some of the strongest tourism marketing does not begin with a tagline. It begins with a person, a place, and a story worth hearing. For Visit Cambria, Archer & Hound developed the Cambria Interview Series—a social media content initiative built around the voices of local business owners, community figures, and longtime residents who help define the town’s identity. The goal was to create destination content that felt less scripted, more grounded, and unmistakably Cambria.

The A&H Treatment

Our team produced a series of on-location interviews designed to capture the character, charm, and lived texture of the destination through the people who embody it. Rather than promoting businesses as isolated attractions, the series framed them as living parts of a destination people could feel connected to before they even arrived.

The series featured voices like Ms. Consuelo from the Cambria Historical Museum, sharing local history and even the proper way to pronounce Cambria; Tara from Covell Ranch, introducing the landscape and experience behind the ranch’s Clydesdales; and Aaron Linn of Linn’s Family Farm, highlighting the farm-to-table roots that connect the region to one of its most beloved dining destinations.

We also captured stories that reflected Cambria’s culture in more unexpected ways—like the line outside Sea Chest Oyster Bar, where waiting becomes part of the experience and local flavor becomes part of the story.

The Results

The result was a flexible library of social-first tourism social media material that gave Visit Cambria a more human, place-driven way to tell its story. By centering local voices, the series helped showcase the depth, personality, and authenticity of the destination—turning everyday knowledge, community pride, and business stories into content that invited potential visitors to experience Cambria not just as a place to see, but as a place to know.

Let’s make something great together.
